From Generic Wellness Programs to a Personalized 30-Day Mindfulness Platform
The Mindful Squad needed a way to deliver structured mindfulness training to corporate teams, healthcare workers, educators, and first responders. We built a SaaS platform that runs a guided 30-day challenge — with daily content drips, breathing exercises, team accountability, and a full admin CMS to manage it all.
The Problem
Corporate wellness programs sound great in theory. In practice, most companies hand employees a meditation app subscription and hope for the best. There's no structure, no accountability, and no way to tailor content for different roles — a nurse dealing with burnout needs different tools than a software engineer managing deadline stress.
The Mindful Squad wanted to change that. They needed a platform that could deliver a structured 30-day mindfulness challenge to teams across five different segments — with daily content, guided exercises, team interaction, and real reporting on who was actually participating.
Wellness content was scattered across PDFs, emails, and third-party apps. There was no way to deliver a day-by-day curriculum that participants could follow at their own pace.
Corporate teams, healthcare workers, educators, and first responders all have different stress profiles. Generic wellness programs ignored these differences entirely.
Without daily reminders, team accountability, or visible progress tracking, most people abandoned wellness programs after the first week.
HR directors had no data on participation rates, completion rates, or team engagement. They couldn’t justify the investment or identify who needed more support.
What Was at Stake
Five Audiences, One Platform
Corporate teams, healthcare professionals, educators, first responders, and individual professionals each need tailored messaging and onboarding. The marketing site had to speak directly to each segment while funneling them into a unified training experience.
Content That Drips Day by Day
The 30-day challenge needed to unlock content progressively — one day at a time. Each day includes articles, videos, exercises, and reflection prompts. The admin team had to be able to create, reorder, and update all of it without touching code.
Keeping People Engaged for 30 Days
Most wellness programs lose participants after a week. MindfulSquad needed automated email and SMS reminders, a team buddy system for accountability, visible progress tracking, and interactive exercises like the 4-7-8 breathing tracker to keep people coming back daily.

Feature Spotlight
4-7-8 Breathing Tracker
An interactive guided breathing exercise built right into the daily curriculum. Participants follow a visual cue through 4 seconds of inhale, 7 seconds of hold, and 8 seconds of exhale — no separate app needed.
Real-Time Participation Analytics
The admin dashboard shows exactly who is participating, which days they completed, and where drop-off happens. Single-user and multi-user reports let HR directors measure impact across teams.
Automated Content Drip Engine
Content unlocks day by day, automatically. The admin team builds each day with drag-and-drop sections — text, video, exercises, reflections — and the system delivers it on schedule with email and SMS reminders.

Our Approach
From understanding the training gap to launching a live platform
Mapped the Training Journey
Worked closely with The Mindful Squad team to understand how corporate mindfulness programs fail — and what keeps people engaged. Mapped out the 30-day curriculum structure, identified the five audience segments, and designed the content delivery system, admin workflows, and engagement mechanics.
Mapped the Training Journey
Mapped the 30-day curriculum, identified five audience segments, and designed the engagement mechanics with The Mindful Squad team.
Built the Platform
Developed all three parts of the system: the 5-segment marketing website, the member challenge dashboard with daily content drips and interactive exercises, and the full admin panel with drag-and-drop content management, email/SMS automation, user reports, and KPI tracking.
Built the Platform
Built the marketing site, member dashboard with daily drips and exercises, and the admin panel with CMS and automation.
Launched Across All Segments
Deployed to production with corporate teams as the first cohort. The admin team managed all content through the CMS, participants received automated daily reminders, and HR directors tracked engagement through real-time reports. Over 90% of participants reported measurable improvement.
Launched Across All Segments
Launched with corporate teams first. Admin managed content via CMS, participants got daily reminders, and 90%+ reported improvement.
Over 90% of participants reported measurable improvement in their daily mindfulness practice. The platform gave us something we never had before — a structured program our teams actually completed, with real data showing the impact. Sonicode built exactly what we envisioned.
